It was perhaps an act of mindless optimism to drive into CRCS this morning with the intention of doing some work outside.
And, having got out of the car, I realised that it would be an act of utter stupidity to actually do so – since it was -4C and blowing 20-30 knots of easterly wind.
So I contented myself with a walk around the buildings to make sure all was well and a tour of the Platforms. Therefore no blog just some snaps of Cheltenham Racecourse Station in adverse conditions!
It will, I imagine, get worse before it gets better.
Fingers crossed for an improvement by the weekend.
Yours, thawing out,
Tim
Yes, the weather has been bad all over the country, and I mean ALL. I live in St Blazey in Cornwall, and we don’t often SEE snow leave lone the fact of it SETTLING on the ground! But we have joined the rest of the U.K., with our own share of snow! What would St Pirran say?
Nice set of pictures. Would make good Christmas cards. Very peaceful!
Regards, Paul. (St Blazey 1925)
